Please join our petition for the City of Altoona to build a small playground in Tuckahoe Park. The surrounding neighborhoods do not have a playground for children to enjoy. The park is a large grass and tree shaded area, perfect for a small playground with a few swings, a slide, and climbing structure.

We will present the petition to the City Council and Mayor. 

If municipal funding is not available, a citizen led effort for sponsorship could easily bridge the gap. The project should also include a cross walk on Union Ave. Currently there is no designated crosswalk on the entire stretch between 6th Ave and Pleasant Valley Blvd/Plank Road. That is dangerous. 

Please sign so that children and families in the area have a safe enjoyable place to play.
