WHAT IS THE GOAL?  To finally honor the great humanitarian with a statue larger than his personality in this great town.

WHAT IS AT STAKE?  If we don't act, future generations of Downers Grove residents will need to rely on the information superhighway like YouTube & MySpace to learn about Randy's great journey through our town and all of his accomplishments in life.

WHY NOW?  Downers Grove is quite possibly the greatest western suburb of Chicago.  Our population is exploding and we need to stay top of mind for all of those considering to relocate to the 60515.  If we don't act now, we will remain as "that town by Naperville".

WHO ARE WE? We are your neighbors, your community leaders, your sisters & your brothers. We grew up loving pop culture, beef jerky & the occasional debate on whether or not wrestling was real (it is). Once we moved to this sprawling metropolis and found out that Randy once graced the streets of Downers Grove, we knew something had to be done.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS? We are concerned citizens who have a vested interest in increasing our property value and putting our stamp on this great town. Or both. Rather than having a midlife crisis, we'd prefer to put all of our efforts into honoring Macho Man in our town.
