Buderim roundabout's beloved 'waving man', Peter Van Beek, remembered for bringing joy to commuters

It’s coming up to a year since the sad passing of Peter van Beek, the lovely old man that used to cheer everyone up on their morning and afternoon commute on Ballinger Road. 

It would be a fitting tribute to him to name the roundabout ‘Peter’s Roundabout’. We need to petition the Sunshine Coast Council and let them know the depth of feeling from the local Buderim and surrounding community.
