As residents of Conifer, Colorado, we understand the reality of limited local recreational facilities. Our town desperately lacks the fun, engaging activities that channel the energies of our young population. Our passionate local skateboarders, for instance, do not have a dedicated space to hone their skills.

The need for a local skatepark has never been more pressing. Skateboarding is not just recreational but also allows young people to express themselves, build self-confidence, and cultivate a sense of community. According to the Public Health Agency of Canada, skateboarding fosters community-building and promotes physical health among the youth.

Conifer is home to an incredible potential talent pool of skaters who deserve a dedicated, safe, and accessible space to skate. This is more than a call for an additional recreational facility; it's a call to improve our community's quality of life and provide an outlet for our youth.
