Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America and is growing in popularity in our city. The Columbus, Ga Pickleball Association (a non-profit) represents over 500 players in our community and yet there are NO dedicated public courts for our players to play! The demand heavily outweighs the supply!

We have a huge opportunity to create a facility that not only promotes a healthy and fun lifestyle for our community but also one that has an economic impact via tournaments that draw players from around the country.

The Columbus, Ga Pickleball Assoc., seeks to partner with the city to help fund and run the new facility.

We are asking our city officials to make this a priority and work with The Columbus, Ga Pickleball Association to establish an official partnership agreement on location and operational roles within the next 3 months (4/2022) in order to begin construction in 2022.
