Living in State College, as a college student, I find myself constantly facing the dilemma of wanting to enjoy my favorite foods from Costco, but unable to access them. The nearest Costco is hours away, making it incredibly inconvenient to buy the items I love and rely on, especially in bulk. 

We are a community of students, families, and residents who all share this need for a local Costco. State College, home to thousands of students and permanent residents, has a thriving economy and a continuously growing population. Our community deserves the convenience, affordability, and variety of products that Costco provides. Having a local Costco isn't just a convenience; it would significantly contribute to the local economy by creating jobs and attracting more visitors to our area.

Statistical data indicates that cities with Costco stores experience a notable enhancement in local employment and consumer satisfaction. For example, according to a study published by the University of Washington, communities with Costco stores have higher employment rates in retail and associated sectors.
