The Issue

This will be sent to the magistrate for our area.

In Trimble County, Kentucky, we have a pressing issue that concerns many local residents: the road we live on remains unpaved, making daily travel challenging and sometimes hazardous. As someone who calls this road home, I've witnessed firsthand the struggles associated with its current condition. School buses full of children rely on this route regularly, along with farmers transporting essential equipment and livestock.

The road is noticeably too narrow and its unevenly paved surface becomes especially treacherous under adverse weather conditions. The mixture of rain and mud can render the road impassable, causing delays and posing safety risks. The children on these school buses deserve a safe and smooth ride to and from school. Likewise, our local farmers need reliable access to transport goods efficiently, which in turn supports our local economy.

According to recent statistics, properly paved roads can improve transportation efficiency by up to 30% and significantly reduce vehicle maintenance costs. By paving our road, we can provide safer and more efficient travel for all who rely on it daily. Moreover, paved roads are less prone to erosion and require less frequent maintenance, saving the county resources in the long run.

We're not asking for much; just a safer, more reliable path for our community's children and workers. We understand budgeting constraints, but we firmly believe that the safety and well-being of our residents should take precedence. Many neighboring roads have seen improvements, and we respectfully request that our road be prioritized as part of Trimble County's infrastructure development.  This will be sent to Crystal Whitice who is the magistrate for our area
