Wraysbury & Horton is a beautiful village.  Unfortunately the area has got a very unstable broadband network comprising of legacy dated, dilapidated copper, which on a good day is providing approx 11Mbps with an upload of 1.5Mbps assuming the broadband stays up long enough to allow you to achieve a productive day at work or or provide a decent day home schooling your child.  

What makes it worse is our reliance of the network, there are parts of this village which do not even have a decent phone signal nor is there an option for Virgin media. We're a stone throw away from Heathrow Airport yet facing such struggles!

We see BT Openreach workers on our streets every day patching an already very tired network which desperately needs updating.

We are being pushed from pillar to post when lodging faults with the providers as they say its the Openreach network and Openreach say "speak to your provider"

With the current push for IoT (Internet of Things) and smart homes this is becoming more and more of a necessity in our lives. please sign the petition to start the journey for us to upgrade our beautiful village and help us welcome a new more improved version of communication.
