Look into why fans are denied ticket access, as at the Leeds Arena show
This petition had 305 supporters
When Bruce Springsteen announced a show at the Leeds Arena in the UK, fans were very excited and eager to get tickets. Two pre-sales were arranged, one by communications company 02, the other by Live Nation. Seconds after the first pre-sale, ticket 're-sellers' had up to 300 tickets available, while fans logging on were told tickets had sold out. The same occurred for both the other pre-sale, and the general sale. Fans were greeted with 'sold out' messages from ticket selling sites the second they went on sale.
As an artist who has always had a close connection with his fans, we implore Springsteen and his management to investigate why so many fans have been left ticketless while hundreds and hundreds are available from third party sellers at vastly inflated prices, and whether these tickets went directly from promoters to these sites, bypassing fans altogether.
We, the undersigned, feel cheated and let down by the selling process and the fact we have been locked out of seeing someone whose music and morals we have long held in high repute.
