Cameras Should Not Be Required In Broward County Schools
The Issue
Broward County Public Schools should not be requiring students to turn their cameras on. Many students are uncomfortable with turning them on because they are not comfortable with their living situation. Not all students have access to their own private area where they can work without other people in there house walking by. By making them turn their cameras on it is not fair to them or the people around them. Also, when everyone has their cameras on, on the Teams application it makes the video call lag and glitch more often. People already have enough problems with their Teams acting up without their cameras on so why create a new problem. They need to reconsider making cameras mandatory in class.
