A dramatic change to the core (not political) meaning of the Sheriff’s office is in dire need!  I want to put a stop to the Civil Rights abuses suffered by individuals at the hand of current law enforcement officials.  Additionally, as the highest ranking law officer, even above federal law officers, I will stand up to any and all unconstitutional “laws” created by the Federal government that are in direct contradiction to the Constitution of the united States.  Further, I will require comprehensive training for all Deputies that includes ethics as well as civil liberties!  I will also back legislation for for firearms training and safety courses in the private and public areas, including schools!  EDIT: 09/17/2013 - After spending a little more than a week inside the Broward County jail (minor charges), now more then ever, I want to run for Sheriff so I can make some much needed changes... What disgusting, deplorable conditions, AND the (psychological, etc.) abuse I witnessed and was subject to is unbelievable. Please sign the petition to get me on the ballot.
