TAKE THE PLEDGE:

To say that a lot is riding on the midterm elections November 6 is an understatement. What happens that day will dramatically impact the nature of American Democracy and the fate of this planet with it's myriad species of animals, plants, and other beings. That day may begin to turn our ship of state around -- or It could spell doom.

Ready to do something about it?

What would it look like if you and I actually engaged in the process for at least 15 minutes a day?  That's not even 2 hours a week!!  What if you and I signed and forwarded petitions, or passed announcements along action based announcements on social media wrote a letter to the editor or blog post.  What if we spent the time to stay current with the actions suggested by Indivisible.org, MoveOn.org or another activist organization -- and acted on a daily basis.

It is great to attend vigils and meetings and rallies when they emerge, of course.  But, what if you and I picked up the telephone and made a few personal calls, wrote an email to a representative, or even knocked on a few doors on a daily basis?
