For all students attending graduation on May 28, 2026 at Barclays Center, we’ve received confirmation from the Office of Graduation Initiatives and Commencement Planning & President of Undergraduate Student Government at Brooklyn College that we will not be walking across the stage.

This moment is something we have all worked toward for years—an achievement our families and loved ones deserve to witness in full.

We believe there is still a way to make this right. With unity, determination, and faith in our shared voices, we can advocate for a ceremony that truly honors our hard work and dedication. Together, we can push for the opportunity to walk the stage and be recognized as we deserve.
