A couple of attempts were made to send the petition via email to Superintendent Andrew Corey, along with the school board. On Wed. Aug 25th Andrew acknowledged the petition and asked if it would be presented at the next school board meeting and the reply was yes. Our plan is to present this petition in person, to the school board on Wed. Sept 22nd at CSDA. The meeting will start at 6PM. We thank you so much for your support in signing this petition. We now need in person support. We are not looking for anyone to necessarily speak up at the meeting, unless you want to. We just need people to show up. Not only will this show a strong presence for our cause, but it will give us the courage we need to keep pushing forward. In support of our cause, we are asking that you wear RED to the meeting. If you do not own any red clothing, then a color that is similar, such as ORGANGE or even brown is perfectly fine. Please continue to share this petition with the community. Thank you.
