The Holtsville Park and Pool is slated to close due to budget cuts. Some of the amenities at the Holtsville Park include: a triple pool complex; exercise-trail fitness course; nature preserve and ecology center, featuring animals, ecology exhibits and tours, free compost, greenhouses, and a picnic area. These valuable amenities will all be closed! The Pool is used by many groups including swim clubs, summer camps, and swim lesson programs. It is a place to go for the many residents of Brookhaven, especially in this economy where more people are looking for economical ways to do activities with the family. Let's not let this happen!
