Solidarity with Land Defenders - Brock U Community

Brock University’s Institutional Strategic Plan documents four priorities to guide planning and decision making until 2025. One of the priorities is “fostering a culture of inclusivity, accessibility, reconciliation, and decolonization.” In line with this pillar, we call on Brock University Presidents office to issue a statement of support for Land Protectors. With increased violence against the land and Indigenous peoples, it is vital that the Brock University community expresses support for Land Protectors and a commitment to divestment from the fossil fuel industry.
