If/Then is a life changing musical that will have its last show played on a Broadway stage on March 22nd, 2015.

This petition is to request that its last show be professionally recorded and sold in a DVD form so fans from all places can have a piece of its magic with them long after the show has ended.

Professionally recording Broadway musicals has proved to be a very cherished way for Broadway fans to relive all the emotions a show has brought them, therefore recording If/Then would keep its memory alive for generations to come. Many other shows like RENT, Company and Shrek have been professionally recorded and sold to the public so people could revisit its most notorious moments over and over. Furthermore, their recordings have also helped expand people's attention to the theatre community and drawn people's interest in such.

If/Then has been known to be a daring, thought-provoking and compelling musical that has touched the lives of many theatre lovers, whether they have been able to attend a performance or have blasted its soundtrack for days on end after its release. Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey have written and composed a beautifully well-written piece of art that with the direction of Michael Greif and performance by a brilliantly talented cast became a showstopper in the theatre community.

If/Then deserves to be preserved for posterity. It deserves to have its last bow become a new page on its story instead of its end. If/Then invites and challenges its viewer to "take a breath and then fly off the cliff," it is a remarkable reminder that each and every one of us has a chance to start new every morning and make the decisions that could change our lives forever. If/Then needs to continue taking its message not only in the hearts, memories and telling of those who have experienced it in one way or the other, but also in the form of a professionally recorded DVD so it can keep on changing lives for years on end.
