Lauren McQueen has participated in a self harm storyline in the channel 4 Soap Hollyoaks. It raised incredible awareness for people struggling and helped me and many others stop and or get help for it. She is such an amazing actress and although she’s only been on Hollyoaks one year, she has made incredible progress and made a huge difference. She’s a real credit to the soap and deserves all the recognition in this world for what she’s done for people. She also is very helpful to fans in that she has been lovely to them about their struggles and met some of them in person.
