When dogs are involved in car accidents, it is law that this must be reported so that the owners are notified and can deal with the incident. Unfortunately this is not the case with cats who are also beloved pets. Yes there are many stray cats, however there are also many missing or wandering cats who are equally loved by their owners. It would be great to see this legislation change so cat owners might be brought some closure as to what has happened to their pets.
