Piers Morgan is currently the only recognisable TV Journalist who is calling out the British Government over their appalling Covid 19 handling. Although it is important not to create public panic, people lives depend on the British Government acting in a competent, truthful manner. Currently they are letting the British people down and appear to be stumbling from one disaster to another.

They promoted herd immunity.

Failed to recognise the need for lock down.

Failed to act to procure PPE when we knew what was coming from looking at other countries.

Failed to implement a competent testing strategy.

Failed, repeatedly, to reach their testing targets.

Failed to protect the elderly in Care homes.

Failed to implement a track and trace strategy.

Failed the teachers and school children, with no strategy, fixed guidance, protective measures or funding.

Failed the NHS.

And most importantly failed 35,000 to 60,000 and counting dead citizens, who it is their sworn duty to protect, and all their family and friends.

If this catalogue of ineptitude is not enough, the British main stream media, in particular BBC and ITV have failed the country, by permitting their journalists to kowtow to No 10 and not call the Government out, probe the strategy and ask difficult questions. The only person who appears to be doing this is Piers Morgan.

We therefore call upon the British Government and ITV News to extend Piers Morgans press credentials so that he is permitted to attend the daily Downing Street briefing and ask question.
