Ban loud bangs in Fireworks
Ban loud bangs in Fireworks
The Issue
Every year domestic pets, farm animals, wildlife, small children and the elderly are firghtened, or scared by the overloud bangs in fireworks. They are not necessary, as the effect of fireworks is mainly visual. While a little 'fizz', or 'whee', or even a 'pop' is acceptable, the decibel level of most fireworks today sounds as if one is living in a war zone. I have started this petition so people can begin to enjoy the beautiful visual effects of fireworks without either being frightened out of their own wits, or causing unnecessary suffering to other people and animals. If you care about the harm and distress caused to those who cannot speak for themselves then please support me and sign this petition. Please ask all your friends to sign as well. Without the unnecessary noise element in fireworks, no-one need dread the firework season. Thank you for reading this, now PLEASE sign and put an end to unnecessary suffering .
