Over a year and a half after you helped get 6 innocent men home to their families and I'm back asking all you incredible people for some more help.
As most of you know Billy my Husband was wrongfully arrested in India in 2013. When I recieved that phone call, as worried and scared as I was, I believed he would be home and safe within thre week.
He was innocent after all, and our government and FCO have a legal obligation to look after its citizeans abroad!
WRONG.....the UK Government has NO legal obligation to protect its citizens abroad.
Today, along with Richard Ratcliffe, husband of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe. Daniela Tejada-Venegas, wife of Matthew Hedges. Yemisrach Hailemariam, wife of Andargachew (Andy) Tsege and Gurpreet Singh Johal, brother of Jagtar (Jaggi) Singh Johal we launched a petition calling for Boris Johnson to ensure the rights of British citizens are protected abroad.
No innocent British national should have to endure what we went through. The Government should have a obligation to protect it's citizens and we want to make that the law.
