For the past 4 years Nick Dunn has been given his number to run the Great North Run.
But for the past 4 Years Nick and 5 other British Veterans have been wrongly incarcerated in India.
Nick's incredible and inspirational Sister Lisa Dunn decided that because Nick missed his chance to run in the GNR in 2013 it would be a lovely idea if Nick and his two siblings could run it together the following year as a family, a celebration, that despite everything that happened to Nick they were not defeated and were in fact stronger and more determined than ever.
Despite the men all being cleared of all charges in the summer of 2014 it became more and more clear that He would n't be making it home in time, the Indian police lodged a appeal against the quashing of charges and they were being dragged yet again into a long and pointless judicial process.
Not one to be defeated Lisa trained hard, despite family work and campaign commitments she made sure her brother Nick's place in the GNR would n't be forgotten. The plight of the Chennai6 wouldn't be forgotten.
With ever stride she took she thought of those men. When she did n't think she could go any further, she thought of those men, and when she crossed that finish line she did it for the #CHENNAI6.
For 4 years now Nick's place has been differed. This will be the 3rd Year Lisa Dunn will have ran this raise in honour of her brother and the Chennai6.
Please watch her emotional video below and sponser Lisa if you can via www.justgiving.com/freesgo6
As always Thank you so much for your support.
