I’m writing this to vouch for the change we need in sex education.

We need to change the way sex education is taught in schools.

Here’s some examples:

• More inclusive Sex Edu
• More open minded
• Teachings about STD/STI
• Non judgemental teachings/teachers
• Open ended teachings
• Teaching of Gay/Lesbian Sex
• Safe sex in the LGBT+ community 
• More descriptive Sex Ed
• Accessibility for all
• Helpful information/teachings
• Basic bodily anatomy 
• Safe environment 
• Welcoming/ non judgemental 
• Open/Like minded individuals 
• ENDING STIGMA BEHIND LGBTQ+
  
  Personally growing up as a gay transgender man I wasn’t taught about gay sex and/or the risks of STD/STIs. Topics like these are pushed back for being “taboo”. We need to teach more inclusive Sex ED in schools, for those who are gay, lesbian or unsure. 
  
  We need to protect the safety and well-being of our people young or old. 
  
  We need to change the system and the stigma behind Sex ED in our schools. 
  
  We need to open up for a more inclusive future. 
  
  As of now in schools very little is being taught around inclusive and safe sex no matter the situation, we need to change this for the better health of our future and the people growing into it. 
  
  Things we NEED to change and put in place:
• The stigma behind the LGBTQ+ community.
• The lack of support.
• More inclusion in all ways, shapes and forms.
• Openly LGBT teachers to teach about LGBTQ+ safety in sex and in general.
• The stigma behind gay sex being “wrong”, “unnatural” or “not normal”
• Support for those who need it.
• The uses of contraception and the different types.
• Risks behind all types of sex.
• Identification of STD/STIs and/or related conditions 
• Support 
• Making NO ONE feel left out
• Help in coming out/ identifying of sexuality and gender identity.
• Gender Equality for all
• NO HOMOPHOBIA
• NO TRANSPHOBIA
• NO RASCIM
• NO SEXISM
• NO ABLEISM

We need to use our voices and speak up to get stuff changed for the better of our future and the people going into it. 

All of the topics listed need to be changed/ re-thought for the safety, protection and overall health of our present generation and future generations to come.

The world we knew before is changing for better and worse, so I’m here to make a change of what’s close to my heart and for what I and many others grew up without.
