Hi everyone, It's been over 6 weeks now since we sent out our first E-Mails to Jennifer DiNenna from AZA (Assocation of Zoos and Aquariums) asking for SeaWorld's membership to not be renewed and I have not yet had ANY replies from her. I had written 3 times by now and still no replies. SeaWorld's membership renewal is due for March 2015 so with just one week left to go, there is little time left to press on with this issue. Please write to Jennifer DiNenna one more time and ask her politely to not renew SeaWorld's membership with AZA. The reasons have been outlined previously so this E-Mail should be very short and simple. All you need to do is this: 1) Send an E-Mail to: jdinenna@aza.org 2) Say that you have been in contact before about SeaWorld's membership renewal due in March 2015 but had not received a reply (if you have written in January. If you hadn't written in January go to step 3) 3) Explain in one or two sentences why SeaWorld's membership should not be renewed (that SeaWorld violate AZA's standards by, for example, a) providing scientifically false information to the public, or b) holding animals in incompatible groups and sterile environments, or c) portraying orcas in degrading ways during shows) 4) Ask them to not renew SeaWorld's membership in March 2015. Quite clearly, the lack of correspondence seems to suggest that AZA is trying to get away with this. Let's keep the pressure on until we get a reply from them! Thank you again for your support and efforts! If SeaWorld was dropped by AZA, that would also be a big concern for British Airways. So please, do write! Here's what I sent to Jennifer on Friday if you need any inspiration. Any questions, just leave a comment below and I'll try to help as best as I can. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y238/lil-Rinny/Pics/AZALetter2.jpg All the best, Kathleen
