I wanted to share with you footage of a brave young Swedish woman who made a stand on the flight are was on & stopped the deportation of a man to Afghanistan. Elin Ersson, aged 21, stood up so that the flight could not take off , she faced opposition from some passengers, including a British man who snatched her phone from her. However she won the support of lots of other passengers including a whole football team. In tears she continued to state calmly the reasons she was protesting the deportation and that she couldn't do nothing & allow the airline to transport the man to his death. At the end of the video you, can hear loud applause for her courage and stand from other passengers as the man they were going to deport is taken off the flight. It reminded me of the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, who said; "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." In this case, Elin speaking out has most probably saved a life. Our voice is almost 50000 strong & I would appreciate your support to help reach this target by continuing to share the petition.
