Iron maiden have sold over 70 million albums. They're still performing since their debut album came out in 1978 and have released 15 albums. They set up the Clive Burr MS trust fund which has raised a vast amount of money. They've played in countries where bands rarely play such as India, Bali and Venezuela. In their own genre they have influenced the majority of bands and their influence can be heard in other genres. Its time the band got the award and recognition they deserve for being one of the biggest british bands with no radio backing or tv backing.
