STOP THE SALE & GIFT US BACK our Rastafari Culture Centre 134a-136 GROSVENOR ROAD

The Afrikan Caribbean Assembly (ACA) Youth Chapter Bristol, herby demands that Bristol City Council cancel the sale of the former Justice For Marlon Thomas / Rastafari Culture Centre situated at 134a - 136 Grosvenor Road St. Paul’s.

The current occupier Ras Bandele Selassie has been a tenant in the building since the 1990s operating an invaluable service of mentoring, spiritual guidance, counsel and trade that extends across and beyond the black community of Bristol. As our elder we stand with him and are deeply upset and offended that our important cultural centre should be taken from us and sold outside of our community. The building should be gifted back to us so that the Rastafarian Culture Centre may continue to serve the community alongside other important reparatory justice services.
