Motion would like thank everyone who took part in the petition over the weekend. The support means everything to us. If the proposed housing development is approved by Bristol city council it will lead to the possibility of noise complaints from residents of the new homes and ultimately to the closure of this much-loved cultural asset. Motion is fully behind the development of the area, but the housing needs to work alongside our business. 

We need to make the Council fully aware of the local, regional and national support for Motion and also of the strong opposition to any housing development that threatens its future.

We’ve received over 6000 signatures so far but we still need as many signatures as possible so please keep sharing and supporting. Also if you wish to oppose the planning yourself as many people have asked please find a link to the planning application below.
