The original guernsey, the same one in which the Lions won their historic three premierships has been replaced by a clearly inferior logo and design. While most supporters and members have voiced their displeasure, the Lions board has been indifferent to the countless emails sent to them regarding the jumper.

"The Brisbane Lions will consult members on a regular basis through focus groups and surveys on significant issues affecting the club and/or members. These issues may include, but are not limited to, significant changes to the Club Song and guernsey and will be determined by the Board of the Brisbane Lions."

Even though this is the message in the Lions' Members Charter, I'm afraid it's not reflective of the actions of the club.

It's downright embarrassing what used to be one of the best jumpers in the game, has now been turned into a marking show-pony, used to create profits at one-off situations.
The most important thing the club can do right now, to gain the members it lost when they changed the jumper, is to change it back. There's no other way. There are plenty of people I know who refuse to buy the current jumper because of the design and logo.

It's sickening that we've had to deal with the logo and jumper for 3 years, continually expressing our disappoinment and disgust through emails, chats with players and board directions, but it's worse that we've had no response from them regarding the issue.

That's why I'm starting this poll, who knows where it may end up, it may go well, it may not even get 20 votes. Someone's got to start something, and hence, here I have. Hope you understand the point of view I'm expressing, as this is something that needs to be changed if the club wants to move forward, listen to its members and supporters and re-gain the faith they once had in the mighty Brisbane Lions.
