The Labor for Working Class Action Network committee on behalf of local workers of all sectors, particularly unwaged, underemployed and unemployed in Qld. Calls on all levels of government to commit to full employment initiatives where the following economic sectors can receive particular support:

·         Manufacturing

·         Hospitality

·         Tourism

·         Arts and Entertainment

·         Renewables

The Labor for Working Class Action Network committee also calls on the federal government, and federal opposition to consider the following actions:

1.       That an emphasis on trade-based industry jobs receive funding and attention in the Covid – recovery in 2021 and beyond.

2.       Reintroduce the Commonwealth Employment Service (C.E.S) or an effective nationalised employment agency.

3.       That people with disabilities, elderly, and first nations people be treated compassionately by improving funding to close income inequalities, in health, and education disparities.

4.       That a Green New deal be incorporated into the Australian economic recovery to achieve 2050 emissions targets and help assist everyday Australian people and workers.
