I am a native of Las Vegas. Born in Henderson back in 1983, living most of my childhood on the south end of Las Vegas Boulevard, going to, and graduating from, Las Vegas High School, sadly moving away from Vegas in 2006 and relocating to Utah, but coming back home a few times afterwards. Vegas will forever be my home and I will always love coming back. However, I came back for the first time after Covid back in April of 2024 and was utterly disappointed at the fact that Vegas is no longer "The City That Never Sleeps." Everything except for the casinos shuts down by 9-10pm every night. This is not right. This is not how people expect Vegas to be. This is NOT Vegas. People come to Vegas to have a great time at ALL hours of the day and night. This is what Vegas was built upon. We need to make it known that we want our 24 hour town back. All the shops, all the attractions, all the food, all the glitz, all the glamour......we want it ALL back, and we want it all to be open 24 hours a day. Like it should be. So let's get as many people to sign this petition so we can get it to the powers that be to do our part in bringing Vegas back to "The City That Never Sleeps."
