For many of us, the announcement of Valko as a new love interest in the Love and Deepspace game (LADS) was highly anticipated and thrilling. Slated for release on July 9th, 2026 Valko was set to be a captivating character whom players couldn't wait to meet and explore a new narrative with. The excitement was palpable among the LADS community, including myself. Unfortunately, due to various protests, the company Infold decided to cancel Valko's debut, despite the immense buildup and hype created around his character. This decision felt like a slap in the face to so many devoted LADS players worldwide.

Valko was more than just a new love interest; he represented a promise of new adventures and emotional connection, elements that are core to the gameplay experience.

We understand that companies must navigate feedback and protests carefully, but removing Valko entirely overlooks the broader community's voice. Many of us had already formed an anticipation and attachment to his character, and his abrupt cancellation leaves a void in the game space we cherish.

Infold has the power to listen to its community and rectify actions that may have been hasty. By reinstating Valko, Infold can demonstrate their commitment to listening and engaging with their global player base.
