Bring Usher & Chris Brown Together OCT 30! 25th Anniversary of “HEAVEN CAN WAIT”
The Issue
"Heaven Can Wait" from Michael Jackson's 2001 album Invincible was a collaborative effort written by Michael Jackson, Teddy Riley, Kenny Quiller, Nate Smith, Teron Beal, Eritza Laues, and Andreao "Fanatic" Heard.
“Heaven Can Wait” was deeper than melody and lyrics. Raised within the teachings of Jehovah’s Witnesses, there was a certain emotional and spiritual feeling in the song that immediately connected with me. When hearing the demo, we knew this wasn’t just another record.
25 years later, the record still stands as a timeless moment where faith, instinct, and music aligned.
That is why, in 2024, I launched a petition calling for Usher and Chris Brown to record a special tribute version of “Heaven Can Wait” in honor of the 25th anniversary of Invincible (2001–2026).
The 25th anniversary of Invincible presents a rare opportunity to celebrate Michael Jackson’s impact in a respectful and culturally meaningful way — bridging generations while inspiring the future.
🎶 THE VISION
This tribute is envisioned as a powerful cultural moment:
A live performance moment during the 25th anniversary celebration of Invincible or on their upcoming R&B tour that begans the week of Micheal Jackson’s untimely passing.
A release that bridges generations and reintroduces this music to a new audience.
🕊️WHY NOW
The 25th anniversary of Invincible in 2026 presents a rare opportunity to celebrate Michael Jackson’s enduring impact in a way that is both respectful and culturally significant.
This collaboration would not only honor the past—but inspire the future.
IN CLOSING ✍🏼
If you believe in honoring legacy, celebrating timeless music, and creating a historic cultural moment—sign and share this petition.
This is more than just a song.
This is a moment in music history waiting to happen.
Let us honor the past… by inspiring the future.
