There has been another SEIZURE of a Princess by the New Hanover County DSS/CPS located in Wilmington, NC! Their intention: to sever the ties between the Offspring and ENTIRE Family without a lawful reason. Ty’Ava has INALIENABLE RIGHTS! Ty’Ava has Siblings! Ty’Ava is being deprived of the Right  to associate with others from Tribe, learn about Ancestors, understand culture, etc. 

In 2019, at barely 3 months old, Our Princess was snatched from My arms without a valid reason. A DSS/CPS actor stormed into daycare, enlisting the Wilmington Police with hands on their guns to assist. On record Ty’Ava was STOLEN without the proof that was promised, just waving papers that I was told were "signed by a judge"! This social worker was NOT familiar with Our Family and did NOT get to know Our Family within the short weeks of being handed the paperwork from a coworker.  I knew there was NO ABUSE and NO NEGLECT!!!! Their investigation confirmed it. Our Princess is now 6 and still NO REUNIFICATION!!!! 

I am approved for the Safety Plan and Kinship Care! The repeated delays have been endured with indescribable pain. We are suffering every second WITHOUT HER. Visitations have been halted for over two years, after four years and without a legitimate cause. Held from Family, only remedy to adopt out, as if is She is someone's chattel property and a modern day slave on the auction block!!!  Ty’Avawill know how long and hard Her Family has been fighting for Her. Our Family is five living generations strong, but our voices are NOT being heard! Help make a change to this injustice. Be a part of the solution, not the problem. PLEASE don't wait until it happens to you or any of your family members!!!!

This petition is to bring the actions of New Hanover County DSS/CPS to the front and center. Stand with The Pollard Family to demand FREEDOM FOR TY’AVA!! Keep the conversation going about their unchecked and unchallenged power!!!! We want her released immediately. The ONLY acceptable resolution is reunification NOW.
