I love shopping at Trader Joe's for its unique products, healthy options, and conscientious prices. However, the nearest location is in Milwaukee 30 minutes away, quite a distance for those of us who live in Grafton, Cedarburg, or Mequon, or Port Washington. The lengthy drive is not only time-consuming, but the destination presents another hurdle: Bayshore’s often hectic parking situation can easily turn a quick grocery run into a stressful event. Even just “hopping off the freeway” on your way through is a larger task than what it should be. 

Ozaukee County is one of the fastest-growing areas in Wisconsin, with a population upwards of 89,000 and a robust surrounding community. It's clear that a Trader Joe’s would thrive given our demographic’s interest in high-quality and affordable food options. 

We understand the feasibility study for new locations involves evaluating the local customer base and potential market saturation, but we believe Ozaukee County is poised for success in this endeavor. We hope Trader Joe's considers the potential benefits, from the vibrant community support to the viable market for their products.
