Football is more than just a game for many students at William Carey University—it's a passion that unites us, brings us joy, and creates lasting bonds. We believe that organizing a Red & Black Charity Football Game on our campus would be an incredible opportunity for students to indulge in this passion, foster community spirit, and contribute to a meaningful cause.

This event, organized through William Carey University's Intramural Sports, would be student-led and independent from the university's official Athletics Department. The aim is not just to facilitate a fun sporting event but to instill a sense of unity and altruism by turning our love for football into a philanthropic endeavor. Through the Red & Black Charity Football Game, we'd be able to raise money for local charities and make a tangible difference in the community around us.

Imagine students coming together in waves of school spirit, not only to play football but to contribute to a cause greater than ourselves. We believe this event could become a cherished tradition where we don't just wear the red and black, but also carry it in our hearts as we work collectively towards helping those in need. By bringing together students, faculty, alumni, and families, the game would foster camaraderie and showcase the generosity and spirit of William Carey University.

We ask for the university's support to allow us to make this vision a reality—let's create this platform where we can unite under the banners of sport and service. Support from William Carey University's Intramural Sports program is all it takes to make this happen.
