Bring the Original Tiny Toon Adventures series to MAX!

The Issue

Created in 1990, Tiny Toon Adventures was the series that started a revolution in Warner Bros. animated series and animated series created by Steven Spielberg. It introduced the junior counterparts of the characters from Looney Tunes, such as Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny (no relation), Plucky Duck, and Hamton J. Pig, with the Looney Tunes themselves teaching them how to be professional cartoon stars like them at ACME Looniversity. Episodes would alternate between being three seven-minute shorts, with each one focusing on a different Tiny Toon, and full 22-minute episodes. Tiny Toons was a massive success, lasting a total of 98 episodes over the course of three seasons and having three different feature-length specials; "How I Spent My Vacation", "Spring Break" and "Night Ghoulery". In its heyday, it had high-quality merchandise such as two sets of Happy Meal toys from McDonald's, a set of plushes from Playskool, a series of children's books from Golden Books, and a series of video games from Konami. It would pave the way for other WB/Spielberg shows such as Animaniacs (1993), Freakazoid!, and Pinky and the Brain.

Recently, the Tiny Toons have been brought back for modern audiences as part of a reboot called Tiny Toons Looniversity. Unfortunately, this reboot does not live up the original, due in part to several unfavorable changes; Babs and Buster Bunny are now twin siblings instead of the unrelated couple they once were, the stories' setting is limited to ACME Looniversity, every episode is a full 22-minute one instead of alternating between it and three shorts, and the closing credits lack the gag credits and end tags of the original. We need Warner Bros. to bring the original series to MAX so that people can continue to see the Tiny Toons the way they were meant to be!
