For many of us, the PlayStation 1 era was defined by a handful of legendary mascots. Alongside icons like Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, and Abe from Oddworld, there is one hero who holds a very special place in our hearts: Sir Daniel Fortesque.
With this petition, we are asking Sony Interactive Entertainment to bring the beloved MediEvil franchise – specifically MediEvil 1, MediEvil 2, and the fantastic 2019 PS4 Remake – to PC (Steam).
Why MediEvil belongs on PC:
In recent years, Sony has adopted a brilliant strategy of bringing its legendary PlayStation exclusives to the PC market. We have seen massive successes with titles like God of War, Spider-Man, Horizon, and Ratchet & Clank. Furthermore, the PC releases of the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and the Spyro Reignited Trilogy have proven beyond a doubt that there is a huge, hungry market for classic retro-mascots. The original fanbase is grown up, has purchasing power, and is eager to relive these childhood memories.
Yet, MediEvil has something completely unique that sets it apart from all other platformers and action-adventures of its time:
The Atmosphere: A perfect, timeless blend of a Tim Burton-esque spooky vibe and deeply dark, brilliant British humor.
The Masterful Soundtrack: The incredible orchestral music that perfectly captures the gothic, morbid, yet charming aesthetic of Gallowmere.
Bringing the MediEvil series to PC would not only allow the original, loyal fanbase to experience Sir Dan's adventures at high resolutions and frame rates, but it would also introduce this absolute masterpiece to a whole new generation of gamers who never owned a PlayStation.
There is an enormous economic potential here for Sony, and an even bigger emotional payoff for the gaming community.

Mit dieser Petition bitten wir Sony Interactive Entertainment, die geliebte MediEvil-Reihe – insbesondere MediEvil 1, MediEvil 2 und das fantastische PS4-Remake von 2019 – auf den PC (Steam) zu bringen.
Warum MediEvil auf den PC gehört:
In den letzten Jahren hat Sony die fantastische Strategie verfolgt, seine legendären PlayStation-Exklusivtitel für den PC-Markt zu öffnen. Wir haben riesige Erfolge mit Titeln wie God of War, Spider-Man, Horizon und Ratchet & Clank gesehen. Darüber hinaus haben die PC-Releases der Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy und der Spyro Reignited Trilogy zweifellos bewiesen, dass es einen riesigen, hungrigen Markt für klassische Retro-Maskottchen gibt. Die ursprüngliche Fanbase ist erwachsen geworden, verfügt über Kaufkraft und sehnt sich danach, diese Kindheitserinnerungen wieder aufleben zu lassen.
Doch MediEvil hat etwas völlig Einzigartiges, das es von allen anderen Platformern und Action-Adventures seiner Zeit abhebt:
Die Atmosphäre: Eine perfekte, zeitlose Mischung aus Tim-Burton-artigem Grusel-Vibe und tiefschwarzem, genialem britischem Humor.
Der meisterhafte Soundtrack: Die unglaubliche orchestrale Musik, die die morbide, aber dennoch durchweg charmante Ästhetik von Gallowmere perfekt einfängt.
