The Central Valley is a remarkable region that often goes unrecognized. I have put together a PDF outlining my vision for its future and the potential benefits it could bring to the area. You may notice that my focus is primarily on Fresno. This choice was intentional; my belief is that positive changes in Fresno will inspire neighboring cities to pursue similar initiatives as they observe the advancements and successes resulting from proactive governance.

 

1st plan: The Annual Civic Voting Form & Vote - We propose the development of an innovative app that allows community members to suggest and submit ideas for enhancing Fresno, such as a new mall or accessible community center. Residents throughout the Central Valley would have the opportunity to vote on these suggestions, including categories like transportation options to nearby cities. With assistance from investors, sponsorships, and available resources, we can actively work to bring these highly demanded projects to fruition.Our application utilizes the principle of community demand to foster profitable growth by clearly articulating resident preferences to investors and developers, thereby reducing uncertainty and minimizing investment risks.

I utilized JotForm to illustrate the voting suggestions and the final voting process; however, due to its limitations on the number of participants who can submit suggestions and votes, I strongly advise Fresno government officials to develop a dedicated website for this purpose.

- This initiative is expected to reinforce the Central Valley, fostering a more vibrant community while simultaneously boosting the local economy.

- It's a mutually beneficial arrangement: the community gets the amenities they desire, and investors are presented with clear opportunities for profitable ventures.

- We will initially launch this app in Fresno, with plans for future expansion to other cities in the region.

 

2nd Plan: Improve the FresGO 311 app - The FresGO app serves as an effective tool for reporting street issues and tracking their resolution. Utilizing the app enables us to easily identify our location on the map, especially when navigating a pothole while uncertain of our current street, however, we may experience challenges.  Its functionality and location accuracy require improvement, and addressing these issues could greatly enhance the cleanliness and safety of Fresno and its neighboring areas.

 

3rd Plan: The Beautiful Plan - The third plan aims to enhance Fresno's economy and aesthetic appeal by implementing rooftop murals for visual impact, beautifying streets with California-themed landscaping (palm trees, drought friendly plants and flowers), and employing a social media marketing professional to promote the Central Valley, particularly Fresno.
