Bring Back Red BusesWaltham Abbey, United Kingdom
Aug 27, 2023

If more of us sign, we won't be ignored. We reached 1,000 signatures yesterday - let's keep going. Keep sharing with anyone impacted!

Today, the only bus running anywhere in Waltham Abbey is the '66A' (pictured), at a frequency of once an hour.

Meanwhile, the Lea Valley Campsite and Yardley Lane are being frequently served by routes 215 and 379 until the early hours. The 317 is running frequently at Waltham Cross until 11:55 PM. It's about time Transport for London extended these routes to Waltham Abbey.

To top this off, the last bus leaves Waltham Abbey at just 7:24 PM. Waltham Abbey's transport service is embarrassing, and a far cry from the days our town formed a key part of the London bus network. Let's get red buses back in Waltham Abbey, with the Oyster card.
