Unfortunately, Stripe – the world’s leading online payment processor – is still not available in Pakistan.

Why This Matters:

Thousands of Pakistani entrepreneurs, developers, and freelancers face unnecessary roadblocks when trying to access global markets and monetize their skills. They resort to inefficient workarounds, face higher fees, and suffer from inconsistent payments — all because Stripe is not supported in Pakistan.

Stripe’s availability would:

Over $2.5 billion in software and IT exports annually (2023)
Active efforts to digitize the economy by the Ministry of IT
Strong developer and startup ecosystem (NEST I/O, NICs, and many more)

Our Request:

We, the undersigned, respectfully request:

Stripe Inc. to begin the onboarding process to support Pakistani entities (individuals and companies).
Government of Pakistan to actively support Stripe’s launch by ensuring compliance with regulatory and banking frameworks.
State Bank of Pakistan to facilitate smooth foreign remittance mechanisms compatible with global fintech platforms.

Let’s Open the Digital Economy for Everyone.
