Since Steve Howey's character Nick Wagner was introduced in Season 2 of High Potential he has been a very complex and oftentimes confusing character. He has left us guessing his intentions and where he fits into everything for quite awhile. But that has in and of itself been such a good thing as it has brought some much needed mystery, conflict, drama to the show along with the amazing chemistry he has had with Kaitlin Olson's character Morgan Gillory, which in turn has led to some really stellar sexual tension between their characters.  

The last couple of episodes before the season finale his character had finally started to be fleshed out and we as fans were finally getting to see deeper glimpses of what made this complex man tick, and the story had really made him a super likable fan favorite of the show.

Steve Howey has done a wonderful job portraying such a complex character as Wagner, showing added depth in any scene he was in to really keep you guessing everything about his character. When his character finally starts to let down his walls, Steve does a heartachingly terrific job capturing the emotions associated with his character's back story.

The kiss he shared with Morgan was beyond hot and really left me rooting for them to have a full on romance even if it turned out not to be end game. As characters they really deserve to have that romance fleshed out and explored.

Plus as a viewer who has enjoyed the show from the beginning but was not one to watch it religiously, I personally found myself watching it more regularly since he joined for the chance to see the chemistry between Wagner and Morgan play out in any scene they were in together. Once that amazing kiss happened I was all in. After the episode with their kiss I went back and rewatched the entire series and it is now my number 1 favorite show as I couldn't wait to see their romance unfold and develop in season 3. It was the best romantic pairing I have seen chemistry wise on tv in sooo long it burned with a fiery passion. I was super excited in a way I hadn't been in years for a tv pairing.

Now after the finale that just aired I'm left super upset as nothing ever got explored between them after their kiss. It's like the writers spent an entire season building up the sexual tension and hints to finally having them kiss but then seemed to change their minds and do a complete 180 the next episode, and are "like nah lets halt it right there and pretend it never happened". What was the point? Why have them kiss at all if nothing was ever going to actually come of it? Seems like a lot of wasted time throughout the whole season just to anger fans for no reason.

From the sounds of all the interviews since the finale aired Steve Howey is leaving the show as a main cast member and either they will really kill Wagner off or they will only bring him back to tie up loose ends as a quick guest star appearance as apparently the writer's haven't decided yet. While I prefer the latter if there is absolutely no other option, I really believe instead he should come back as a full cast member. His and Morgan's story together deserves to be told in full.  Even if by the end of the show Morgan ends up with Karadec.

Plus why is it every time Morgan gets interested romantically in someone they disappear either that episode or within a couple episodes so we never get to see her actually even try at having a real romantic relationship? This is such a good growth opportunity for Morgan to have a regular healthy romance on screen for at least a while.

So I ask fellow fans of Steve Howey's character Nick Wagner and of the romance that could and should have been between him and Morgan to stand with me and sign this petition to bring Steve Howey back as a main cast member for at least season 3 so we can have the romance we were so rudely denied!!!! 

Together let our voices be joined together so that the writers know how much we love his character and want more of Morgan and him together!!! The writers haven't yet decided what to do with his character so we need to make our voices heard, that we the fans want him back full force!!!! We Want Wagner Back!!!!
