I have been a Spiderman fan since I was a  kid that goes for many people as well also . I had the merchandise and all that . I have watched every spiderman movie in the theater since spiderman 1 from Tobey Maguire spiderman. Reading this shows I am big Spiderman fan and so is my family . So when news came that Spider-Man No Way Home is only releasing in theaters we were considering to go but as you know the omnicron variant now sweeping the world which makes many families  not able to go as they have to stay back at home for many number of reasons such as fear for their familys safety or in concern for people in their family who are vunerable to the virus also during a time where many countries are considering to go back into lockdown. We are fine with theaters having the movie but the same situation does not apply to the whole world. For example in here in the UK we are asked to stay far from crowds if possible and limit our contact with others. So we are asking Sony Pictures , Marvel and Disney and people involved in making the film to please give people the option to stay at home or go to theaters as all cannot go during world - wide pandemic. We all know theaters are the best way of watching a film but unfortunately not all people can during such a critical time .
