Bring single/coop mode in Battlefield 6
Bring single/coop mode in Battlefield 6
The Issue
Dear EA/DICE,
As casual players, we kindly ask you to consider adding a single-player or co-op mode against bots in Battlefield 6, similar to what was available in Battlefield 2042.
There is a large group of us who genuinely love the game and the Battlefield series — we enjoy shooters, but we simply don’t have the skill level to compete successfully against highly experienced players in multiplayer matches.
We want to play, enjoy, and support your game by purchasing seasonal battle passes, skins, and other content. However, we don’t want to pay only to become easy targets for others.
We are not asking for much. We’re not interested in XP farming or fast weapon leveling. We fully understand that full progression in bot modes might feel unfair to those who play multiplayer — that’s why we believe the Battlefield 2042 system, which granted 50% XP and weapon progression, was a fair compromise for everyone.
We also understand the risks of XP farms in Portal, so we are not asking for XP gain in Portal mode at all. All we ask for is a dedicated single-player or co-op experience using official modes like Breakthrough or Conquest.
We bought Battlefield 6 in good faith, hoping we could play calmly and make steady progress. Right now, however, it feels like there’s no place in the game for players like us.
Alternatively, if a single-player or co-op mode doesn’t fit your current vision for the game, we kindly ask that you bring back the Initial mode and make it available for players of all ranks.
As casual players with busy real lives, we simply don’t have the time or ability to train enough to compete with veteran players online. For us, a single-player or co-op mode (or at least Initial) is the only way to truly enjoy the game.
Otherwise, uninstalling the game may sadly become our only option to avoid growing frustration.
We sincerely hope you will consider our request and allow us to keep enjoying the franchise we’ve loved from day one.
Your devoted casual players.
