Chadwick Park is an important part of our community — families, kids, and residents use it every day for sports, gatherings, and evening walks. But right now, the park is missing key things that directly affect safety, recreation, and quality of life:

1. Proper lighting throughout the park
Once the sun goes down, Chadwick Park becomes unsafe due to poor visibility. This discourages families from using the park in the evening and increases the risk of accidents and unwanted activity. Installing bright, reliable lighting will make the park safer and more welcoming for everyone.

2. Clear goals and a development plan for the park
Our community deserves a structured plan for Chadwick Park’s future — including maintenance, upgrades, and long‑term improvements. Having clear goals ensures the park continues to grow and serve the neighborhood properly.

3. Permanent soccer goals on the field
Many kids and adults use Chadwick Park to play soccer, but there are no proper, permanent goals. Installing safe, durable soccer goals will encourage healthy activity, give local youth a place to play, and support positive use of the park.

We, the residents of Manteca, respectfully request that Mayor Singh and the City of Manteca take action to:

• Install proper lighting throughout Chadwick Park
• Establish clear development and maintenance goals for the park
• Install permanent soccer goals on the park field

These changes will improve safety, increase community use, and make Chadwick Park a better place for families and neighbors.
