Bring Rich Werner back to Plants vs. Zombies and PopCap!

The Issue
- What is the issue? Plants vs. Zombies is a fun, player-friendly tower defense game released on May 5th, 2009. It was a beloved game by all. Now, look at it in 2025. A new company owns the mobile division, the new Plants vs. Zombies 1 remaster is flopping, Plants vs. Zombies 3 is meh, Plants vs. Zombies 2 is a show of clowns, and everything else is haywire. Where did it go wrong? A starting factor; Rich Werner.
- Who is Rich Werner? Rich Werner was the original artist for Plants vs. Zombies 1. He left PopCap in 2018 to pursue greener pastures, but that was when the art-style change happened, and it was terrible.
- Why should we bring back Rich Werner? Rich Werner being brought back would revitalize a part of the Plants vs. Zombies franchise and give higher quality to future releases. Hey, I'll give you a word of info; they also laid off other original PvZ people as well.
- George Fan - George Fan was THE original creator of Plants vs. Zombies 1, and shaped the game to what it was. Now? Laid off.
- Laura Shigihara - Laura Shigihara wrote and sang "Zombies on your Lawn", and did music for a lot of the game. She left Plants vs. Zombies 2 after Ancient Egypt, which half-marked the downfall of the franchise.
- Rich has tried multiple times to get back on the PvZ team (applied for PvZ 2 TWICE, same with PvZ 3, and even expressed interest in Replanted).
- PopCap even had most of its employees laid off after the EA buyout.
- Bring back Rich Werner, and make Plants vs. Zombies great again!
