The leap from gameboy to DS for Pokemon games was revolutionary; the games really employed the greater processing power from the new console, especially with the release of generation 6, the first properly 3D Pokemon games EVER. 

The feeble step from 3DS to the Switch however has resulted in the EXACT SAME models of Pokemon from generations 6 and 7 in generation 8, animation quality lower than games from 20 YEARS AGO and the imminent discontinuing of ANY Pokemon games ever being released on this iconic console, which is worsened by the fact that Nintendo are still producing and upgrading it. 

We can clearly see the motivation behind continuing the franchise on the Switch when we look at the price of the two consoles (the DS starts at around £75/$99 and the Switch starts at around £280/$370) against the huge following Pokemon gets from fans across the world. Simply put, those that purchased the 3DS to play Pokemon will see no reason not to purchase the Switch to play Pokemon, resulting in a huge profit for Nintendo and Gamefreak and a huge loss for those who do not want to waste their money on a new console when they already have one.

 I AM NOT SUGGESTING TO DISCONTINUE POKEMON ON THE SWITCH BUT TO CONTINUE IT ON BOTH CONSOLES.

You can help by NOT SUPPORTING THE DOMINION OF THE SWITCH. Specifically, DO NOT PURCHASE OR PROMOTE PURCHASE OF THE SWITCH, CONTINUE TO PURCHASE OR PROMOTE PURCHASE OF THE 3DS AND POKEMON GAMES ON FOR IT, if you feel the need, contact Nintendo to share your opinion because what you say could tip the scales either way and most importantly, SUPPORT THIS PETITION.
