Fans of the show Penny Dreadful understood the need to bring Vanessa Ive's tale to a close.  It was inevitable.  And while we understood that necessity, the producer left other characters dangling.  These are not small characters.  Each has his/her own lore that is big enough to explore so that each character could find closure or open a new chapter to another character whose lore is just as large.  I do believe that the fan base still exists for Penny Dreadful or those who enjoy a great gothic tale brought to the lens.  In a world filled with reality tv, there are some of us who crave creative film/tv such as Penny Dreadful.  Remember, the show never ended because of poor ratings.  

Moving a show like Penny Dreadful to Netflix is a no-brainer.  Currently, there isn't one show that comes close to this.  Penny Dreadful could survive on Netflix because Marvel showed Netflix that lore done right attracts viewers.  And those viewers talk and bring more subscribers.  If bringing the show back is too complicated to unravel, a spin-off show with the remaining characters could work.  You still have the tale of Dracula, The Werewolf, Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein and of course, our beloved Dorian Grey.  Also, Scotland Yard was introduced.  If no monsters, how about a good ol' mystery to solve?  This story has so much potential.
