In Cambodia, innocent people are suffering every day because of the ongoing war. Families are losing their homes, their safety, and their loved ones. Children, who should be growing up in peace, are instead living in fear—without stable shelter, proper food, education, or medical care. Many are carrying trauma that will last a lifetime.

This conflict is destroying communities and stealing the future of an entire generation. Parents are struggling to protect their children, while basic human needs like safety, healthcare, and dignity are becoming harder to access.

The world cannot look away. The United Nations must act now. Urgent action is needed to stop the violence, protect civilians, and bring all sides to the table for peace. Delays only mean more suffering, more displaced families, and more children growing up surrounded by war.

We call on the United Nations to urgently address this crisis, mediate peace talks, and hold those responsible for violence accountable. The people of Cambodia deserve to live without fear. Their children deserve a future filled with hope, not conflict.
